Medical Biller

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist Medical Offices of Dr. Zahn is a fast-growing, San Gabriel, CA-based medical practice that specializes in concierge medicine. We are currently seeking a Medical Biller/Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in billing and coding, and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review patient records for accuracy and completeness to ensure accuracy of charges Review patient co-pays and co-insurance to ensure coverage of unpaid balances Prepare accurate charges for all medical services rendered by you Prepare accurate invoices for collection of past due balances Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness to ensure accuracy of payments Prepare accurate statements for patients based on their payments received from insurance companies Answer patient phone calls and respond to questions about our billing process or other billing related inquiries by explaining the process or products available to the patient Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager

Experience:

Prior experience with medical billing, coding, and or insurance claims processing is preferred. Experience with pharmacy is also preferred.
