Full /Part Time General Surgeon (Chinese, Korean, Spanish, or Vietnamese)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Surgeon to join our growing team at Vital Vein and Vascular, a reputable solo vascular surgery practice serving multiple hospital and clinic locations throughout Orange County, CA, including Placentia, Los Alamitos, Fountain Valley, and Santa Ana / Tustin. This position offers flexibility — full-time or part-time — with options to work 3-5 full days or 5 half days per week, depending on your availability and interest. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of general and vascular surgical procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care in collaboration with our vascular surgeon. Provide inpatient consultations and surgical coverage at affiliated hospitals. Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-ups in our on-site clinic. Collaborate closely with our vascular surgeon and medical team to optimize patient outcomes and workflow efficiency. Experience Proven experience in surgical practice within a hospital setting, preferably at Level I or Level II trauma centers or tertiary care facilities. Extensive background in specialized fields such as cardiology (including catheterization), interventional radiology (vascular interventional radiography), neurology (neurocritical care), obstetrics & gynecology (labor & delivery), pediatrics (neonatology), or oncology is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems like Epic and EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Experience with diagnostic tools including CT scans, nuclear medicine imaging, ultrasound, and pathology reports. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and surgical techniques such as suturing and aseptic procedures. Ability to perform advanced procedures such as spinal taps, gastric lavage, wound care management, ostomy care, catheterization, and pain management interventions. Prior involvement in clinical trials or research projects is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients. Proficiency in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, or Vietnamese (speaking at least one of these languages is required).
