Full Job Description Benefits:
Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) Dental insurance MORE Physical Therapy, Inc. seeks a Patient Account Representative to join our team in the Willow Glen area of San Jose! This is a full time position; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzing aging reports, auditing patient accounts, and following up on past due balances Advising patients of their financial responsibility and the provisions of their insurance coverage Ensuring insurance carriers and patients remit payments in a timely manner Designing payment plans for patients with limited insurance or other financial challenges Reviewing insurance company correspondence and responding to denials or rejected claims Responding to requests and inquiries from insurance carriers and patients Maintaining current knowledge of insurance provisions and contract requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Outstanding customer service skills Strong analytical and problem solving ability Excellent organizational skills Computer literacy A minimum of one year experience in healthcare billing and collections Familiarity with group health, Medicare, and worker's compensation insurance
