Medical Biller - Ophthalmology California Eye Professionals - 3.2 Temecula, CA Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Teamwork Report writing National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) guidelines EDI Serving clients CMS Practice management software Patient management software High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Problem-solving Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) billing regulations Critical thinking Full Job Description The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely billing and collection of both insurance and patient accounts receivables for established Ophthalmology Practice Duties for this position include posting charges, posting payments, submitting insurance claims electronically and using paper forms as required for insurances such as Medicare, IEHP, PPO, HMO and, AR follow-up and the processing of patient and insurance refunds.

Must exhibit energy and passion about serving clients and continual learning Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and desire to work within a team oriented culture Must have exceptional analytical problem solving skills Must possess extreme attention to detail Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Must have strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PM/EMR Systems, etc. Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPS, CMS and NCCI guidelines Experience working with EOBs and ERAs Creating and submitting monthly reports as required Experience with EDI clearinghouses such asPractice Insight and TriZetto Experience:
