Overview Our established private practice specializing in plastic surgery and dermatology is seeking an experienced, detailed-oriented Part Time medical biller to join our team. We are looking for a dependable professional who enjoys working in a small, patient- focused office. Someone who takes ownership of billing process and is proactive in resolving outstanding claims and maximizing practice revenue.

Responsibilities Include:

Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims Resolve claim denials and manage insurance appeals Verify eligibility and benefits Post insurance and patient payments accurately Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions Ensure accurate coding and billing in compliance with payer guidelines and HIPPA regulations Work closely with providers and staff to support efficient revenue cycle management

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience (plastic surgery and dermatology experienced preferred) Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding Experience with Medicare, commercial insurance and prior authorizations Familiarity with cosmetic procedures and self- pay billing a plus Experience with EMR and medical billing software Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Position Details:

Part Time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) Flexible weekday schedule In office position Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($28-36/hour depending on experience with dermatology, plastic surgery, qr cosmetic procedure billing is preferred but not required) We are proud to provide high-quality patient care in a warm, professional environment.
