Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Biller with prior experience in outpatient medical office billing and denial management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate with positive attitude. Responsibilities Manage the entire medical billing cycle, including insurance claims submission, denial management, follow-up and processing of unpaid claims, and payment posting. Ensure timely reimbursement. Verify patient insurance information and eligibility prior to service delivery to prevent billing errors. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, billing documents, and financial reports. Oversee authorizations and daily correspondence. Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies or claim denials efficiently. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, privacy laws (such as HIPAA), and organizational policies. Requirements Proven experience in medical billing, coding (preferably with certifications like CPC or CCS), and insurance claim processing. Strong understanding of healthcare billing software and electronic health record systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and team members. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and billing compliance requirements. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
