We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing healthcare team in Palmetto Bay. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of medical billing experience and a strong understanding of all aspects of the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities:

Process and submit insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims Manage insurance and patient collections Review and resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies Post insurance and patient payments accurately Generate and review patient statements Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports Verify coding accuracy and ensure compliance with billing regulations Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status and reimbursement issues Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities and follow-up efforts

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of medical billing and collections experience Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding terminology Experience with accounts receivable management Proficient in insurance follow-up, claim denials, payment posting, and patient statements Familiarity with EMR/EHR and medical billing software Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Bilingual ( Spanish/ English)

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
