Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective communication with insurance companies and patients. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing or coding within a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and billing procedures. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and billing software platforms. Knowledge of DRG classifications, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical collections processes.
