Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Certification such as Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent preferred Proven experience in medical billing (typically 1-2+ years) Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance guidelines, and billing procedures Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR -eClilnicals preferred) and billing software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Responsibilities Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance companies Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues Post payments and reconcile accounts Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and providers regarding billing inquiries Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) Maintain accurate billing records and documentation Other Varies Duties Salary depending on experience.
