Medical Coder and Biller

We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team! You will work alongside other medical professionals to provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities:

Make payment arrangements with patients In charge of collections from insurance companies and patients Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; follow up with patients when payment lapses occur. Maintains bad-debt cost report by tracking billing and collections with patients Maintains quality results by following company standards Protects the companies value by keeping collection information confidential Help with scheduling patients and other day-to-day operations as needed

Qualifications:

At least 2 years experience in medical billing Strong background working with insurance companies both government and commercial Experience with filing appeals/rejections, modifying claims, and following up on payment Knowledge of medical terminology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be detail oriented General knowledge of HIPAA and other
