Medical Biller

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following billing process, ensuring accuracy in medical claims, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Ideal candidate should posses understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within a medical office environment. Responsibilities Review accounts and make phone calls to collect outstanding balances. Follow up on unpaid claims with insurance payers and patients. Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10, DRG) and terminology. Strong knowledge of medical records management and healthcare compliance standards is a plus. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively and professionally. Bilingual in both English and Spanish is a plus.
