We're currently hiring a full-time medical biller to work on-site in our Lansing office. What we're looking for:

• A proven track record working in a high-performance medical billing company or medical office
• Experience billing for family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, urgent care, and dermatology
• Strong communication skills
• this position includes patient outreach, so the ability to connect clearly and professionally with patients is essential
• Someone who values accuracy, urgency, ownership, and teamwork
• A professional who can work on-site in our Lansing office 4 1/2 days a week
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification preferred
• Chronic Care Management billing experience a plus

Qualifications Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting; familiarity with medical office operations is highly desirable Strong knowledge of ICD coding (including ICD-9 and ICD-10), CPT coding, DRG classifications, and medical terminology Proficiency with billing software platforms, EMR/EHR systems, and health insurance claim processing tools Understanding of revenue cycle management principles and health insurance policies Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex medical records accurately Knowledge of medical coding guidelines for inpatient services and electronic health record (EHR/EHR) management for billing purposes Effective communication skills to coordinate with providers, insurance companies, and patients Embark on a rewarding career that combines healthcare expertise with administrative excellence!
