We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PT/Chiro Pre-Certification Specialist based in Glen Rock, NJ. •
Responsibilities:
Familiarity with Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle and Personal Injury carriers and their guidelines. Contact insurance carriers to verify patients' insurance eligibility benefits and requirements Work in collaboration with the medical sites to obtain any additional clinical documentation that can be forwarded to insurance carrier. Request, obtain, and track pre-authorizations from Insurance carriers within time allotted for medical services Communicate in a timely manner with providers, Insurance companies and all other required personnel to obtain all documentation required for pre-service authorizations. Follow up with insurance companies to ensure services are eligible for reimbursement. Submit preservice appeals in a timely manner Provide direct support to all providers Maintain a level of productivity suitable for the department. Submit prior authorization to multiple Insurances companies via form, fax, or online Attention to detail and timely follow up skills. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulations. Work effectively in a team environment. Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Self-motivated and approach tasks with a positive, proactive demeanor. Proactively supports management as well as the objectives and goals of the department Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Excel is preferred Knowledge of E-Clinical Works preferred, but not mandatory.
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
