About the
Role:
Bosque Women's Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team in Albuquerque. This is a position designed for someone eager to master the full revenue cycle in a specialized women's health environment. While you will initially focus on the essentials—claims submission, payment posting, and patient collections—you will work alongside our experienced senior biller with the clear goal of learning our entire operation. We are building a pipeline for the future: the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow as the practice expands.
THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION IN ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations:
Manage the daily workflow of claim submissions, ensuring accuracy before they leave the office.
Payment Posting:
Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
Patient Collections:
Handle patient billing inquiries and process patient payments with professionalism and empathy.
A/R Support:
Assist in monitoring the aging report and following up on basic insurance inquiries under supervision.
Compliance & Data:
Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and ensure all data entry is error-free.
Growth & Succession:
Actively learn the nuances of women's health coding (CPT/ICD-10), denial management, and advanced reporting to prepare for increased responsibility.
What You Bring:
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in medical billing or coding preferred. Recent graduates with CPC/CPB certifications or relevant coursework are encouraged to apply.
Special Interest:
A strong interest in women's health is a major plus.
Tech Savvy:
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Practice Management (PM) software is helpful. Experience with Kareo/Tebra or PracticeFusion is a bonus, but not required—we will train the right person.
Mindset:
You are a "detective" by nature, patient with details, and eager to learn complex payer rules.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with patients, insurance representatives, and clinical staff. Why Join Us?
