Medical Biller

A Dermatology Group located in Albany, NY is looking for a full time Biller with a medical billing background.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

- This is a in office position located in Albany, NY. We are looking to add to our team! We are looking for someone with an understanding insurance plans and well as helping patients understand what their coverage is. This position will also assist with billing and posting payment. Applicants must have a comprehensive knowledge of how to work aging and insurance appeals on accounts. Applicant must possess ICD-10 knowledge. Must have a through knowledge of medical billing and current laws. Experience using a electronic medical billing system. Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette. Ability to comprehend various insurance documentation, analyze, reconcile accounts as well as be able to explain to patients to better help them understand. Must be able to follow detailed procedures in an organized and efficient manner. Superior communication, problem solving and follow up skills.
