Business casual, team-oriented medical office Responsibilities In this role, you will help support the practice's billing operations and revenue cycle processes.Responsibilities include:
Processing insurance claims and billing documentation Reviewing payments, adjustments and account accuracy Following up on denied or unpaid claims and submitting appeals when needed Communicating with insurance carriers and patients regarding billing questions Documenting account activity and maintaining accurate billing records Assisting with patient payment arrangements and account resolution Compensation & Benefits $18-24/hr Health & dental insurance Long-term disability coverage Flexible Spending Account (FSA) PTO accrual 401(k) eligibility after 30 days with employer matching Stable full-time opportunity with an established practice Requirements High school diploma or GED Strong computer and communication skills Coursework or training related to business office functions preferred Medical billing or third-party payer experience preferred Ability to work accurately and independently in a fast-paced office setting Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required within two years of hire About Med-Scribe, Inc.
