Our Medical Weight Loss Company is expanding in the Pittsburgh area. We are seeking reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and hardworking individuals that want to work in a faced paced exciting environment. You will need to have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver license. The Medical Assistant is responsible for promptly and professionally assisting our Providers and patients. The Medical Assistant position is a multi-tasking position that has the most interactions with our patients so living a healthy lifestyle is important.
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
Duties Include:
- Being able to multi-task well.
- Have a clear, pleasant voice, and be easy to talk to.
- Prepares all orders, manages inventory, and controls the stocking of supplies.
- Oversee front desk and responsible for all data entry.
- Training of other medical assistants.
- Responsible for all patient visits, including but not limited to med exams, refills, counseling sessions, and consults.
- Follow all HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Work with providers and other medical assistants to manage efficient patient flow.
- Responsible for all patient metrics being entered in system.
- Responsible for collecting all account receivables.
- Fully responsible for all cash that comes in and out of the clinic.
- Learn all of our weight loss programs and services.
- Be extremely proficient with the pricing of our programs and the frequency of the services we offer.
- Learn how to administer subcutaneous injections on the arm and hip.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, and clean when you see that something is dirty.
- Maintain and live a healthy lifestyle.

Experience:
Will provide training Previous work in a healthcare setting is a bonus. Motivational, inspirations and a positive attitude Competent with digital devices (computers) and phone systems High personal energy and enthusiasm for helping people! Ability to multi-task and work in a high paced environment Understanding of basic nutrition and health Experience with ordering retail a plus
