Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Pay Rate:
$23-$28/hr About the Role We're seeking an experienced temporary Medical Biller to support a healthcare organization during a critical, time-sensitive project. This temporary role focuses heavily on managing, organizing, and processing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from Other Healthcare Coverage providers. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for locating, sorting, coding, and distributing EOBs from Other Healthcare Coverage providers. Support billing operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of documentation. Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with billing regulations and internal policies. Visit the onsite corporate office as needed to sort mail (typically 1-2 times per week; up to 5 hours total). Requirements Proven proficiency in EHR billing systems, including accurate application of ICD-10 coding standards Extensive hands-on experience reviewing, interpreting, and reconciling Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documentation In-depth knowledge of Other Health Coverage (OHC) billing workflows and Medi-Cal compliance requirements All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
