• Process and submit medical billing claims accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize DRG, CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding for various medical services.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and compliance standards.
• Assist in the collection of outstanding payments from patients and insurers.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any billing-related issues.
• Utilize EMR and EHR systems effectively to manage patient information.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical billing and coding, with knowledge of DRG, CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Experience with EMR and EHR systems is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and insurance representatives.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
