Do you want to be part of the largest orthopaedic provider in Eastern Tennessee? Join the team at KOC in our Charge Entry Department, where we provide personalized care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are currently seeking (1) part-time Charge Entry Specialist at KOC who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice. Training will be at out KOC Weisgarber location. At Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, our purpose is to improve lives through patient-centered care — every patient, every time. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately posting charges to patients accounts from the clinical documentation in a timely manner to ensure proper billing and reimbursement. Review charges for completeness and accuracy, correcting errors as needed. Communicating with the appropriate staff to resolve discrepancies Maintain confidentiality and pay strong attention to detail.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Previous medical charge posting Medical terminology Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
