What You Bring Ideal candidates have experience as: Medical Billing Specialist Medical Coding Specialist Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Billing & Coding experience OR at least 1 year of Medical Billing & Coding instructional experience. Active CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or another nationally recognized Medical Billing & Coding credential preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Teaching, mentoring, coaching, precepting, or training experience is preferred but not required. Ability to successfully complete FBI fingerprinting/background screening.
