The Medical Billing Collector is responsible for submitting claims and collecting payment from third party payers. Identifies delinquent accounts, denial trends and take appropriate action to resolve. Processes delinquent unpaid accounts by contacting third party payers. Answers inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance companies. Other necessary administrative duties as assigned by your supervisor. Maintains HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. This position is in office - not remote. Salary determined by experience and skill set.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Claims appeal experience, preferred. Basic medical terminology, preferred. Must have at least 1 year medical billing and collections experience. Must have strong telephone communication and etiquette skills Professional appearance, ability to handle multiple tasks and be a team player.
