Job Description
Multispecialty Medical Billing company looking to hire an experienced biller to provide full account support to clients and patients. This is an in-person position, but most of the communication with clients and patients is over the phone. Candidate must have demonstrated
INSURANCE BILLING
experience and flexibility to adapt and handle different roles and duties within the position.BILLING SOFTWARE
- Experience using ELATION and/or MOMS AT
- Knowledge of Office Practicum highly desirable
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
include:- Demographics, entering charges and payment posting
- Managing claims from superbill to electronic submission
- Checking pre billing error reports to correct and clear all rejections
- Posting payments and submitting appeals or corrected claims
- Assisting patients with balance questions
- Assisting provider office and medical staff with inquiries related to billing and insurance
- Communicating with insurances and handling appeals and resubmittals
- Strong knowledge or ICD-10 and CPT coding is required
BILINGUAL
highly desirable. Ideal candidate would be fluent in Spanish or at least able to communicate with patients as needed to resolve billing/balance concerns- Strong computer skills Charges are transmitted daily.
