We are a thriving, physician-owned family medicine practice looking for a motivated Medical Billing Specialist who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding results. You'll play a key role in keeping our revenue cycle running smoothly while working with a supportive and collaborative team. What You'll Do Submit clean claims and ensure timely payment from Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers Investigate, appeal, and resolve denied or underpaid claims Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to maximize collections Post insurance and patient payments accurately Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Review documentation, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for billing accuracy Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions Help improve billing workflows and revenue cycle performance We're Looking For Someone Who Has At least 2 years of physician office medical billing experience Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing Experience with claim denials, appeals, and A/R follow-up Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding Experience with eClinicalWorks required Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding results Local applicants please.
