This role involves assistance in billing and payment processing on a part-time basis to support our main billing team. Knowledge of coding, insurance processing (co-pay and co-insurance splits, deductibles, contractual write-offs, denial management) and accurate payment posting is essential. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to facilitate prompt medical collections and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Accurate account activity posting. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify coding details or documentation issues that may impact billing processes.
