Full-Time About Us Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club (LWRG&CC) is an award-winning, private club located in the nation's best-selling, multi-generational community of Lakewood Ranch. Since 2001, LWRG&CC has served as a social and recreational retreat that offers a casual club culture and community lifestyle for the entire family, revolving around an array of extraordinary amenities including golf, tennis, fitness/wellness center, pools, pickleball, and several dining and entertainment options. LWRG&CC is owned and operated by Heritage Golf Group, a growing boutique owner-operator of upscale private country clubs. Job Summary The Tennis Court Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring all tennis courts and surrounding facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and playability for members and guests. A primary focus of this role is the daily care of our clay court surfaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine daily clay court maintenance, including rolling, brushing, line sweeping, and managing moisture levels to ensure optimal playing conditions. Inspect all court surfaces and surrounding areas for hazards, damage, or repair needs, reporting issues to management promptly. Conduct general upkeep of the entire tennis facility, including cleaning drainage gutters, drains, and irrigation filters, and preventing algae/moss growth. Maintain cleanliness of all areas, including walkways, seating areas, restrooms, and empty trash receptacles. Operate and perform minor repairs/maintenance on court maintenance equipment such as rollers, lutes, brushes, and blowers. Set up and break down equipment for tournaments, leagues, and special events. Replenish water coolers and other amenities on courts. Ensure all court equipment, including nets, fences, and wind screens, are in good condition. Provide excellent customer service, interacting effectively and courteously with members and coworkers. Always observe safety precautions to prevent injury to themselves, co-workers, and members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with tennis clay court maintenance is strongly preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to perform moderate physical work and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Valid Florida Driver's License or the ability to obtain one. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety. Physical Demands The physical demands of the Tennis Court Maintenance Person role primarily involve moderate to heavy physical labor in an outdoor environment.Specific physical requirements typically include:
