Job Description

Our growing dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! We're a friendly, professional, and hardworking group who genuinely enjoy what we do. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures and accurately enter treatment plans Take digital x-rays and digital impressions Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety standards Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment procedures, and post-treatment care Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Maintain a clean and organized work environment Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Coordinate lab cases and communicate with dental labs as needed Assist with administrative tasks in the office such as answering phones, collecting payments and record-keeping when needed
Qualifications:
Active Radiology License required High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Experience with Dentrix is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive, patient-focused attitude Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control standards We're excited to find the right person to join our team and become part of our office family :)
