High School Diploma or GED, or higher, and three (3) years general clerical experience, including two (2) years of customer service experience.
Licenses and Certificates :
None. General Purpose Under general supervision, function as lead worker and assist with supervising, leading, guiding, and participating in clerical duties related to court operations. Typical Duties Assist in leading, guiding, overseeing, and participating in a variety of tasks supporting work schedule development and/or adjustments in court operations.
Involves:
Provide support with daily logs and reports for monthly statistics to include end recall, paid, warrant issuance statistics & New Mexico and Arizona monthly statistics. Clear indicted& capias criminal warrants on lists from the County. Assist with the handling of dismissed and cancelled criminal warrants. Track any changes to the magistrate's criminal codes. Monitor and update the training guide on a per-shift basis. Monitor expired protective orders. Track signed warrants and criminal affidavits signed by Municipal Court judges. Monitor daytime chat and phone queue. Track e-warrants for monthly stats. Monitor and process expunctions. Provide support with daily logs and reports for monthly statistics. Provide support in creating the court calendar to include verification of all courts being filled, audited, and adding/removing court sessions as needed. Monitor and audit the printing of notices on schedule, 12-14 days ahead of court date. Monitor and audit pretrial and show cause sessions that are batched. Revise the interpreter calendar as needed to include sending out cancellations within 24 hours and reach out to interpreters if needed. Monitor lunch hours for support at customer service counters and phone queues. Function as a lead worker.
Involves:
May direct the work of others, including, but not limited to, assigning work, delegating, reviewing, inspecting, or accepting completed work. Review and check work. Guides others on work processes. Train and develop employees. Recommend areas for employee skills improvement. Provide input to the employee performance evaluation process. Resolve complaints. Recommend disciplinary action and vacation time approval. Provide feedback on staff that is on probation. May served as back-up to the supervisor by preparing, reviewing, and conducting section meetings. Perform related duties as required.
Involves:
Perform duties of subordinate personnel or others to ensure continuity of operations during absences. Answer questions, provide accurate information to inquiries, and assist in resolving problems. Work with the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) Liaison Officer's availability as needed and reach out to Animal or Code inspectors regarding availability. Report issues to Justice Systems Inc. (JSI) with proof of errors in Full Court Enterprise (FCE). Test sectional procedures when FCE has an update installed. ELIGIBILITY FOR VACATION LEAVE
All regular employees who are regularly scheduled to work on an average, a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week, who have held a position in the City Service for a period of six months from date of employment, shall be eligible for vacation allowance as hereinafter set forth. Part-time employees shall accrue vacation leave at a pro-rated amount of full-time entitlement based on the number of hours that they are scheduled to work. Employees covered by collective bargaining agreements shall accrue vacation as provided in the applicable agreement. Regular employees in the City Service shall accrue vacation credit at the following rates per pay period, calculated from the date of employment of each employee: For 0

- 3.70 hours per biweekly pay period For >5 to 15 years of service (17 days): 40 hour per week employees

SICK LEAVE WITH PAY
Employees shall be entitled to accrue sick leave with pay in accordance with the Rules of the Civil Service Commission.
ACCIDENT WITH PAY LEAVE
The Amended Section 4.4 of the Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption and shall apply to occupational injuries and occupational diseases occurring on and after date of adoption. Occupational injuries and occupational diseases occurring before such date will be governed by the Ordinance in effect at the time of the date of injury or disease.
PREGNANCY LEAVE A
) Pregnancy shall be treated the same as any other temporary physical disability. B) An employee on pregnancy leave shall use accumulated and unused regular sick leave time and then (unless granted use of special sick leave) shall be on leave without pay, unless the employee chooses to use any accumulated and unused annual leave. C) An employee going on pregnancy leave shall give written notice to her department head with appropriate medical verification. Before returning to work from pregnancy leave, the individual will provide appropriate medical documentation releasing the employee to return to work, as is required for any individual who has been on leave for a temporary physical disability.
