Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across K-12th grade classrooms as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This role begins September 8th and offers a dynamic environment where you can make a true difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Utilizing your expertise as a COTA within educational settings, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and therapists, working hands-on with students to carry out individualized treatment plans, promote independent skills, and foster student success within the school environment. Your commitment will help students overcome barriers, increase participation, and achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
Current and active COTA license in Virginia (VA) Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Familiarity with the needs of K-12th grade students Excellent communication and organization skills Passion for facilitating learning and functional gains in school-aged children
Responsibilities:
