Office Manager/Accountant

Well established construction contractor seeking Office Manager/Accountant. Looking for a specific personality that will fit well in the position and our office.

Job duties will include:

• Accounts Payable (entering credit card receipts and bills, reconciling month end statements, paying bills)
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Accounts Receivable (recording payments received and preparing deposit slips)
• Maintaining check registers
• Working at the front desk/reception to include light phone answering.
• Payroll
• Certified Payroll Reports
• Billing
• Maintain employee records
• Subcontracts
• Other administrative duties as assigned Skills/experience required for position:
• Accounting degree or strong accounting/bookkeeping background
• Minimum 3 years Quickbooks desktop experience
• 10 Key Proficient
• Typing (35 WPM minimum)
• Well versed in Office Suite
• Be able to multi-task or quickly shift from one task to another Looking for someone to be with the company long-term.

Office is located in South Anchorage. Remote work not available. Monday-Friday 8 hours/day (exact hours flexible) 8 Paid holidays Paid vacation after 1 year Sick leave Health Insurance offered and will be negotiated in consideration with salary. Salary discussions begin at $40-45 DOE and health insurance needs. Background check required.
