Duties Manage office operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately with professional phone etiquette; Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling inquiries and routing calls promptly; Perform financial data entry, maintain filing systems, and ensure accurate record-keeping for all office documents; Preparation of church bulletins, funeral programs and church resolutions; Assist with updating of church website; Provide excellent customer support by addressing member questions and assisting with general inquiries; Support office management activities such as ordering supplies, organizing files, proofreading documents, and maintaining a tidy workspace ; SKILLS Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently ; Experience with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and office management practices Exceptional clerical skills including typing speed, proofreading, data entry, filing, and document organization Knowledge of office etiquette and customer service principles to provide a welcoming environment for visitors and callers Personal assistant experience or previous administrative roles that demonstrate strong calendar management and multitasking capabilities This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their administrative career while supporting a growing church.
