Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Business Office Manager to oversee the administrative and financial operations within our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management, medical office administration, and team supervision. This role demands a proactive leader capable of managing fiscal responsibilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering an efficient office environment that supports exceptional resident care. Responsibilities Coordinate and timely file insurance claims and private pay billing Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and HMO requirements Experience with the Medicaid application process for long-term care Collections experience Management of resident trust accounts Managing A/R and ensuring payment for services rendered Supervising, training, disciplining subordinate staff within the business office Familiarity with PointClickCare, and other long-term care biling applications desired Background in medical terminology, medical records management, and health regulation policy knowledge. Experience managing teams in a healthcare environment with excellent managerial communication skills.
