Alcoa Pines is currently looking for an experienced Business office Manager with a Mandatory minimum of 1 year experience in a Long-term care setting. If you do not have experience in Long Term Care, your resume will not be considered. As a Business Office Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care operation, and as may be directed by the Administrator or Accountant. The primary duties of this job include:
- Communicate with supplier/vendors concerning errors or questions on invoices.
- Prepare monthly totals of open invoices, accounts payable, cash disbursements, etc., as may be directed.
- Handle Daily Deposits as outlined in facility policies and procedures.
- Post payments received to appropriate patient account. Resolve insurance billing problems and reduce accounts receivable delinquency as they relate to recent rejections or failure to pay within stipulated number of calendar days.
- Maintain proper documentation, monthly invoice billing, work with Utilization review and verify patient eligibility and benefits.
- Provide strong customer service

- Document all collection efforts and contacts in patient accounting system

- Well organized with strong time management skills Experience/Education The Business office manager must have knowledge of practices applicable to a long-term care environment and be skilled in directing and motivating the staff.
