Detention Supervisor - Regular City of Chandler Detention Officers Only

The City of Chandler Police Department, Police Detention Unit is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Detention Supervisor . This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits. The Police Detention Unit is open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This position is required to work various schedules to include days, swing-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. This position subject to a six (6) month probationary period. Must have 4-years' experience as a detention officer, or a related role or position; and Must possess a DPS Terminal Operator Level B upon hire; and Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work may be substituted for the required years of experience. Desired qualifications Current City of Chandler, Police Detention Unit employees. Supervision Work is performed under the direct supervision of a Police Lieutenant. This position exercises supervision over detention center personnel.
