Assisting the Principal by assuming responsibility for the overall operation of the school office, and maintaining good public relations with students, parents, staff, and the general public.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in a school setting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications Accurate typing and, if needed, dictation skills Excellent multitasking abilities Able to work cooperatively with diverse groups of people Committed to following all policies and regulations Has adequate vision and hearing to perform the job safelyCore Job Functions:
Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the principal, including preparing correspondence, reports, and official documents. Manage daily operations of the school office to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain office supplies and oversee the organization of the school's filing system. Collaborate with Human Resources on job postings, reference checks, and onboarding processes. Create and process all ePARs for new hires, resignations, retirements, additional assignments, and leaves of absence. Oversee and approve timekeeping for support staff. Coordinate scheduling for students, teachers, and staff, including class schedules, meetings, and school events. Serve as a point of contact for parents, students, and staff, resolving issues that do not require administrative intervention. Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting, including compliance with state and federal requirements. Support the implementation and monitoring of school safety and security protocols, including emergency and crisis procedures. Assist with budgeting and purchasing tasks, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and processing invoices. Help coordinate and organize school-wide events and activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal. Carry out all responsibilities in a safe, prudent, and professional manner.Core Values:

The work may require lifting or exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
