Job Description
Primary Function Manage and coordinate the bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and the completion requirements for installation of new furniture and reconfigure projects. Responsibilities include determining the scope of work, coordinating and scheduling the appropriate resources, working with client and internal departments to determine project needs while maintaining excellent communication with all parties. Communicate project status, issues, and other relevant information with internal and external stakeholders. Manage the delivery and installation process for projects. Lead and manage assigned projects performance (Cost, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Margins) from creation to completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Act as the communication hub and point of contact with customers, field leads, and sales representative. Work with customer and construction trades for installation schedule timing including general contractors, electricians, data and phone trades, etc. Recognize and be able to sell service opportunities. Performs site visits to prepare quotations. Work with sales & project coordinator for creation of scope of work and timeline. Maintain ongoing post project communication with customers Verifies on-site field measurements. Reviews and approves product specification accuracy for application and counts prior to order entry. Establishes and authorizes installation labor budgets for assigned projects. Prepare installation packages. Coordinate furniture delivery dates and installation schedules. Acquires truck unload and street access permits. Determine all critical shipping information including product arrival timing, boxed or unboxed, tagging sequences, and side markings. Sets up and facilitates to pre-installation project meeting with Lead, Sales, Design, and Project Coordinator. Gather all necessary documentation including installation drawings, project checklist, product list, and delivery tickets for the lead. Check manufacturer acknowledgements for verification of product and shipping information. Coordinate with building management for delivery logistics. Monitor all job costs including labor. Conduct walk-through with customers and field leads at time of installation completions based on job size. Follow through to completion on all punch list items. Sets up and facilitates the post installation meeting with sales, design, project coordinator, and field lead. Provide solutions to customer issues. Other duties as assigned by management.MEASUREMENTS AND EXPECTED RESULTS
Projects hard scheduled when shipping acknowledgements are received. Deliveries and small projects soft scheduled once shipping acknowledgements received. Projects completed within budgets Punch list completed and submitted within 1 business day of completion of project.QUALIFICATIONS
