This is a front office position focused on patient communication, scheduling, forms, insurance information, follow-up tasks, and daily office organization. You do not need to already know everything about dental front office, dental billing, insurance claims, or treatment coordination. We have internal systems, written workflows, and training tools that help guide the process. The most important qualities we are looking for are reliability, coachability, attention to detail, good communication, computer comfort, and willingness to follow office systems. This role is a good fit for someone who wants to grow in a healthcare office environment and become more valuable over time. Main Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally. Answer phone calls and help patients with basic questions. Schedule new patient visits, follow-up visits, treatment visits, and recall appointments. Confirm appointments and help keep the schedule organized. Collect and update patient information, forms, insurance details, and contact information. Send intake forms, reminders, and follow-up messages. Use internal office systems to track patient tasks, pending forms, unscheduled treatment, and follow-up items. Help verify dental insurance information with training. Help organize patient communication and office notes. Assist with scanning, filing, emails, document organization, and other administrative tasks. Communicate clearly with the doctor, front office lead, and clinical team. Follow checklists, written instructions, and daily assignments. Ask for help when unsure instead of guessing. Help maintain a clean, calm, and professional front office environment. Training and Support We are willing to train the right person. Our office uses internal systems and software tools to help organize the front office workflow. You will be trained on how to use these systems for scheduling, patient follow-up, forms, insurance information, and daily task tracking. You will work under the guidance of our front office lead and will be expected to follow office systems closely. This is not an office manager position. It is a front office administrator role with room to grow over time. What We Are Looking For A strong candidate should be: Reliable and punctual. Friendly and professional with patients. Comfortable speaking on the phone. Organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable using computers, email, online forms, and office software. Willing to write things down and follow instructions. Able to complete assigned tasks without constant reminders. Calm under pressure. Coachable and open to feedback. Comfortable working under the guidance of a team lead. Willing to learn and improve. Able to work well with a small team. Helpful Experience Dental experience is helpful, but not required. Experience in any of the following is a plus: Dental front office Medical front office Receptionist or front desk work Administrative assistant work Appointment scheduling Phone-based customer service Patient or client communication Insurance verification or basic insurance intake Billing support Treatment coordination support We care more about reliability, communication, organization, computer comfort, and willingness to learn than having every skill on day one.
