Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Front Office/Practice Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, team supervision, and healthcare administrative support. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing patient flow, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing office efficiency to deliver exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Supervise front office staff, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and administrative support functions. Oversee billing, coding, and medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and health policy standards while maintaining patient confidentiality. Manage practice finances through budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to promote operational efficiency. Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline patient flow and improve overall clinic operations. Oversee human resources functions including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and team development. Maintain adherence to healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and utilization management policies. Requirements Proven experience in medical office or healthcare practice management with a strong background in office management and healthcare administration. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a medical or dental practice setting. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Knowledge of medical billing, coding procedures, and health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance. Strong understanding of fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within a healthcare environment. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with customer service expertise to foster a positive patient experience. Prior experience in acute care or managed care settings is advantageous; familiarity with JCAHO standards is preferred.
