Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join our prestigious 5-star hotel in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and leading a team of front office professionals. This role is key to maintaining the luxury service standards our guests expect and deserve.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a front office role within a luxury or 5-star hotel. Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, ALICE, PMS) and Microsoft Office. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing daily front office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and room assignments. Supervise, coach, and motivate front office staff to deliver exceptional service in line with hotel standards. Resolve guest complaints and handle escalated issues with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and billing processes. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. Assist in scheduling staff, managing payroll, and conducting performance evaluations. Support training and onboarding of new front office team members. Monitor lobby appearance and ensure the environment reflects the hotel's luxury brand image.
