Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Business Office / Payroll to join our team at a skilled nursing facility in Napa, CA. The Business Office / Payroll is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the facility, with a strong focus on payroll, employee records, accounts receivable, billing support, and general business office functions . Duties Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain accurate employee payroll and personnel records Review timecards, attendance, overtime, PTO, and other payroll-related information Assist with new hire paperwork, employee files, and employment documentation Support accounts receivable, resident billing, collections, and cash posting Assist with insurance and/or Medi-Cal billing and follow up on outstanding accounts Maintain organized business office records and documentation Prepare reports and assist with month-end processes Handle confidential employee, resident, and financial information professionally Communicate with employees, residents/families, vendors, and management as needed Assist the Administrator and other department leaders with administrative and financial tasks Ensure business office practices are consistent with facility policies and applicable regulations Perform other duties as assigned Experience Previous experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or a similar business office environment preferred Payroll experience required Experience with accounts receivable, billing, or healthcare reimbursement strongly preferred Familiarity with timekeeping and payroll systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or business/accounting experience is a plus The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment . You should be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the Administrator, department managers, employees, residents, and families. Experience working in a SNF is strongly preferred.

From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
