The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and have a comprehensive understanding of healthcare workflows, billing, and compliance standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to streamline office procedures, enhance patient experiences, and support clinical teams in delivering outstanding care. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering an efficient and compliant practice environment. Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical or dental office, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient service delivery. Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to facilitate timely care and billing processes. Supervise administrative staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of office management. Oversee financial management tasks including billing, coding accuracy, budgeting, and accounts receivable to ensure fiscal health of the practice. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare privacy standards to protect patient confidentiality. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and record keeping. Monitor clinic operations related to managed care, utilization management, and accreditation standards such as JCAHO requirements. Facilitate communication between clinical teams and patients to ensure clarity regarding treatment plans and administrative procedures. Requirements Proven experience in medical or dental office management with a strong background in healthcare administration. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing administrative or clinical staff within a healthcare setting. Proficiency in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing practices aligned with healthcare regulations. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical coding (CPT/ICD), and insurance claim processing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, providers, and insurance representatives. Experience working within clinics that serve acute care or hospital environments is advantageous; veterinary or dental clinic experience is also valued.
