Case Manager Personal Injury Litigation (Full-Time, In-Office)

We are a busy and well-established plaintiff personal injury litigation firm in Santa Barbara seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our team. This is a long-term, career-oriented role for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with attorneys, litigation staff, and clients to move cases forward from intake through litigation and resolution. What You'll Do Manage a caseload from intake through settlement Open and properly set up new client files and ensure all required steps are completed Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients Coordinate and track medical treatment, records, and billing Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including medical summaries and documentation Track and follow up on liens (Medicare, Medi-Cal, etc.) Manage and organize subpoenaed records Draft demand packages and assemble supporting documentation Assist with discovery responses and client preparation Prepare cases for depositions, mediations, and other key litigation events Monitor deadlines and proactively move cases forward without prompting What We're Looking For Prior experience in a professional office environment (legal or medical preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication skills and follow-through Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability Someone looking for a long-term position and career growth Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Work Environment We are a collaborative and supportive team, but we are also a litigation firm.
