In the absence of the Clinic Administrator and/or Associate Clinic Administrator, the Business Office Manager supervises the functions and operations of the entire NEVHC Health Center.
Supervises:
May supervise any combination of the following positions: Clinic Clerk I/II, Medical Records Clerk I/II, Registration Clerk, Eligibility Screener I/II, Communications Specialist I/II, Front Office Coordinator, Acct. Collections Coordinator, Medical Records Coordinator, and Consumer Relations Specialist.

Clinic Administrator Qualifications:
1. Minimum Associate degree with previous business office experience. Bachelor's degree is desirable. (Two years of related office experience may be substituted for one year of college. 2. Three years progressive responsibility in health care, with two years experience of direct supervision and a minimum of two years experience working with low income populations. 3. If position is located at a School Base Clinic, employee must be willing to submit fingerprints in a manner authorized by the California Department of Justice and have no adverse findings. 4. A working knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare and other state insurance billing and collections. 5. Fluency in English (speak, read and write) with a thorough working knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation. 6. Fluency in Spanish (speak, translate, read and write) is required. 7. Math skills sufficient to prepare routine spreadsheets, calculate/balance invoices/expense reports, calculate income for patient eligibility purposes and similar.
