Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
About Us:
We are a small workers' compensation defense law firm based in Orange County. Our practice is dedicated to representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. We pride ourselves on maintaining strong client relationships and a well-organized, supportive office environment.
Duties will include:
The Office Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily administrative functions, supporting attorneys and staff, and ensuring exceptional client service. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills, great client service skills and have the ability to multi-task. Must be a pro-active, confident person with excellent administrative and organizational skills, meticulous in attention to detail with a 'can-do' attitude, have good time management skills and be flexible in a fast paced and changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks Manage and organize administrative staff with training and day-to-day activities Maintain and organize case files using Merus Case Management and EAMS Coordinate schedules, meetings, and deadlines Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing professional and courteous assistance Prepare, edit, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe Manage and organize files using Office 365 and OneDrive Track and maintain data using Excel Support attorneys with case preparation and administrative needs Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal documentation standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office management, preferably in a legal setting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Merus Case Management, EAMS, Microsoft Word, Adobe, Office 365, OneDrive, and Excel Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
Experience in workers' compensation defense or a related legal field Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
Compensation & Benefits:
$75,000-$90,000 In addition, we offer health benefits, paid time off, retirement plan, and yearly bonuses and profit sharing.
