Job Description

To be considered for this position, you must have previous Front Office Manager or Front Desk Supervisory experience for at least one year.
Scope :
Assist the General Manager with various hotel's overall operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager with all sources of revenue including management of the Front Desk staff, Rooms Management and Inventory, working in tandem with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments. Ensures communication with all departments are maintaining strong working departmental relationships. Performs duties of a Front Office Manager as outlined by PPH Hotels up to and including: the day to day operations at the Front desk along with assisting the GM with: Orders supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance to company procedures. Ensures staff received proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures. Adheres to all franchise and company procedures, regulations and Training as well as standard operating procedures. Promotes hotel's policies and philosophies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction. Acts as the Manager On Duty in the absence of the General Manager at the hotel weekday and weekends. Managing and motivating employees, focusing on employee development and retention and conducting regular employee meetings. Protects the hotel and its assets through enforcing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Follows company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates. Ensures hotel is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour and Health laws.
