This role starts part-time and is built to grow into a full-time Office Manager position. If you have construction office experience, strong sales skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment — we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Scheduling — project timelines, crew, and appointments Permit Pulling — research requirements, prepare and submit applications Payment Collection — invoicing and following up on outstanding balances 811 / Utility Locates — submit requests and resolve any issues Client Coordination — primary point of contact for clients Inspection Scheduling — coordinate with inspectors and municipalities General Accounting — bookkeeping, expense tracking, basic reporting Field Crew Support — relay project details and documents to the field Site Visits (Future) — client-facing visits on a commission basis
What We're Looking For Required:
Prior office management experience — construction or trades strongly preferred Experience working directly with construction clients Strong sales skills — non-negotiable Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple active projects Basic accounting and financial recordkeeping ability Proficient with standard office tools and AI applications
Preferred:
Familiarity with permit pulling processes Familiarity with 811 / utility locate processes Experience coordinating municipal inspections Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Work Environment Fully in-person role based out of our home office. Candidates must be comfortable working in that setting. We are fast-paced but supportive — hard work is recognized and growth is encouraged. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $19.00/hr (part-time). Full-time compensation determined by skills and experience. Commission available for client-facing site visits.
