Job Description

Overview Our practice is committed to providing quality, family-oriented care in a friendly and compassionate environment. The Office Manager is a key member of our team. They will be responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating the overall operations of our medical practice. They partner with physicians and our finance manager to establish practice goals: financial, quality, and patient satisfaction and monitors those goals regularly to ensure the practice is efficient and providing quality care. Candidate Characteristics Works well independently and has strong operational skills Excels at customer service and has strong interpersonal skills Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Develops strong relationships with coworkers and has strong leadership skills Communicates effectively and has strong verbal and written communications skills Responsibilities Develops and implements office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the office Assists physicians to develop and implement long-range plans Manages office operations to maximize patient access and patient satisfaction Coordinates staff and provider schedules to ensure proper coverage for quality patient care Manages human resources - hiring, on-boarding, supervising and evaluating. Seeks to create a team environment Reconciles and investigates patient complaints Manages, leads, and participates in process improvement initiatives Ensures practice compliance with office policies, procedures and programs Actively participates in our care network, maintaining pediatric-specific quality metrics and best practices to provide more coordinated care, improving efficiency and patient safety. Coordinates with our IT provider and other outside vendors Lead contact with our EMR system (eClinicalWorks) and a point person as a superuser Collaborates with nurses, physicians, physician assistants and finance manager Makes sure regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed Qualifications Experience in Practice/Medical Office Solid computer knowledge and aptitude Experience with various software applications such as Word, Excel, etc. High School Diploma or higher (experience is equivalent to post-high school education) Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, bonuses, 401K contribution and health insurance (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Considering each candidates qualifications and experience, the salary for this role is $60,000 or higher, annually, based on full-time employment.
