Job Description

Sonitrol Security of Delaware Valley has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in our office in Wilmington, Delaware to help support our thriving team. The successful candidate for this position will need to help with the setup and maintenance of technology and other equipment, ensuring that our staff has what they need to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating daily office tasks and responding to any member of staff who has a question or request.
Primary Responsibilities:
Politely answer and direct phone calls where needed. Take detailed messages as needed.
Data Entry:
process incoming account changes. Review daily Detailed Incident Reports and follow up with client. Write and distribute email correspondences as needed. Write business letters. Maintain filing system. Process incoming USPS mail. Maintain client contact list(s). Provide general support to visitors. Coordinate with Office/Service Manager as needed.
Requirements:
Must be able to speak clearly and effectively. Speak, read, write, and understand English well. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Have friendly and professional people skills. Must be able to multitask. High School Diploma/GED; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus. Current Driver's License. Reliable transportation. Able to maintain inventory records. Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive applications. Proficient with Yelp, Google, Facebook and other social media platforms preferred. Able to learn new skills quickly. Highly organized and pays close attention to details. Ability to work alone and with a team. Problem-solving skills.
