Job Description
Office Manager / Accounting Administrator Dorr Houzzer is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Manager / Accounting Administrator to manage the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of our office. We are a manufacturing company of contemporary construction products. Basic construction knowledge would be beneficial. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of Accounts Receivable, collections, bank reconciliations, insurance renewals, overhead expenses, and general office administration.

$50,000-$59,000 per year , depending on experience & Health benefits after 90 days Key Responsibilities Coordinate payroll for approximately 10 employees through our third-party payroll provider Transfer and verify employee clock-in/timekeeping information for submission to the payroll provider Communicate payroll changes or corrections to the payroll provider as needed Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment with our benefits/payroll provider, who manages the enrollment process Manage all Accounts Receivable (AR) Prepare and issue customer invoices as needed Monitor outstanding receivables and aging reports Follow up consistently on past-due accounts and collections Maintain accurate customer account records Perform monthly bank reconciliations Review bank activity and research discrepancies Manage and track office overhead bills and recurring expenses Coordinate payment of administrative and operating expenses Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation Coordinate company insurance renewals Work with insurance brokers and carriers to gather and provide required renewal information Maintain organized records of insurance policies, renewal dates, certificates, and related documentation Assist with insurance audits and information requests as needed Maintain accurate financial and administrative records Assist the CEO and management with financial reports, account information, and administrative needs Maintain organized electronic and physical company files Handle general office administration and day-to-day office operations Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, employees, insurance representatives, payroll providers, and management Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, payroll, and financial information. Qualifications Prior experience in office management, bookkeeping, accounting administration, or a similar position Experience with Accounts Receivable and collections Experience performing bank reconciliations General understanding of payroll and working with a third-party payroll provider Understanding of Accounts Payable and general business expenses Experience assisting with commercial insurance renewals is preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office/accounting software Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, trustworthy, proactive, and financially detail-oriented . The ideal candidate will stay on top of receivables, collections, bank reconciliations, insurance renewal dates, overhead expenses, and general office responsibilities while providing dependable administrative support to the CEO and management.Compensation:
$50,000-$59,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.Pay:
