Job Description

Covalent Medical Management is conducting a search for an experienced HR Manager / Office Manager to support daily operations within a growing healthcare organization in South Florida. This individual will play a key leadership role overseeing human resources, payroll coordination, operational workflows, employee relations, and administrative functions in a fast-paced medical environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with healthcare administration, HR management, practice operations, or medical office leadership experience seeking long-term growth within a collaborative and expanding organization.

$80,000-$100,000 DOE Medical Benefits Flexible scheduling Fort Lauderdale location Leadership and operational support role Healthcare/surgical practice environment Growth-oriented culture with advancement potential Collaborative team environment Key Responsibilities Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees Coordinate payroll, PTO tracking, compensation updates, and benefits administration Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and compliance processes Support operational workflows and day-to-day office management Act as liaison between leadership, providers, and staff Assist with scheduling workflows and administrative coordination Support policy implementation and organizational procedures Coordinate credentialing, compliance, and vendor-related documentation Assist leadership with operational initiatives and workflow improvements Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information Qualifications Experience in: Human Resources Healthcare Administration Practice Management Office Management Operations Management Experience with payroll processing and employee benefits administration preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Healthcare or medical practice experience preferred Familiarity with HRIS systems, EHR platforms, Microsoft 365, and operational workflows preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred HR certification is a plus Preferred Background Candidates with backgrounds in the following settings are encouraged to apply: Surgical Practices Plastic Surgery Multi-Specialty Clinics Healthcare Organizations Private Medical Practices If you may have interest in learning more, please forward your CV for a confidential discussion.
